- Area designers show new styles at city store
A new line of women’s apparel, created by two Connecticut fashion designers, launched in Torrington Saturday at a downtown fashion boutique. Brazen Betties held the launch party of Loveli Marie, a clothing label designed and created by Naugatuck resident Kali Schenkman and Waterbury resident Jessica Proulx. The designers’ first collection — a summer line up of mostly dresses, skirts and light tops — was showcased during an opening party with a fashion show by four models.
